ChrisOs Easter Tasting. Clear deep amber beer. Big cream coloured head. Light dry palate. Caramel and apple. Minerals. Dry finish. No thanks.

Bottle at Chriso’s Easter tasting 2012. It pours deep amber, with a massive beige head. The nose is caramel, toffee, hint of dark fruit, toast and hay. The taste is caramel, toasted malt, dark fruit, metal, 2 pence piece (Lorna’s suggestion), blood, iron. Medium body and high carbonation. Some odd flavours, but not bad.
