A unique combination of barley hops and apples brewed and matured as one to create a strong and rounded irresistible apple ale. The autumn equinox is also known as the Feast of Avalon or the Feast of Apples. So we thought it only right to brew our apple ale on the equinox.

ChrisOs Easter Tasting. Clear gold beer, a few white bubbles for a head. Light dry palate. Fair bit of pale malt kept in check by fairly tart apple. Dry finish. Alright.

Bottle at Chriso’s Easter tasting 2012. It pours amber, with a decent white head. The nose is tart green apple and some sweet caramel/toffee. The taste is tart Granny Smith and Braeburn apples, sherbet, lemon, pear and yeast, with quite a clean finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Definitely some tartness going on. I didn’t actually mind it that much....
