Retro reviews from Spring 2012 Wetherspoons Beer festival; amber colour some grapefruit in the hop quite floral almost like an IPA.

The texture is slightly on the heavy side, but it does have a nice chestnut finish.

Cask at the Gig House (JDW), Wokingham. Amber with a tight cream head; malty aroma; smooth and grainy in the mouth, with a malt taste and touch of grapefruit; and a erathy bitterness to finish. A rather straightforward bitter,

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A dark golden beer with a bubbly off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and metallic hops, leading to a bitter finish.
