Retro reviews from Spring 2012 Wetherspoons Beer festival; amber colour some grapefruit in the hop quite floral almost like an IPA.

Shakespeare’s Head Spoons, Holborn. Clear gold beer, little white head. Light dry palate. Minerals. Mild marmalade hops. Minerally fresh finish. Passes muster.

Cask at the Gig House (JDW), Wokingham. Amber with a tight cream head; malty aroma; smooth and grainy in the mouth, with a malt taste and touch of grapefruit; and a erathy bitterness to finish. A rather straightforward bitter,

Cask handpull at Shakespeare Head Spoons. Clear brown amber. Actually its alright. Fine bitter. Ok not too exciting

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. A dark golden beer with a bubbly off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and metallic hops, leading to a bitter finish.

From cask at Charlies. Cloudy golden oange with a small white and creamy head. Aroma is toasted malty and light frui. Bitter, fruity and slight herbal hoppy. Light caramelish touch. Bitter, toasted and caramelish finish.
