Cask: Poured a golden with a white frothy head. Aroma is light grain. Taste is very malty light fruit but grain comes thru in backbone.

Cask half pint at The Grill, Aberdeen. 4.0% ABV. Deep golden to copper colour, white head. Very moderate aroma, some malts. Malty flavour, medium dry, with "dusty" and earthy hops. Fairly distinct and sharpish bittering hops in the finish.

Cask @ The White Horse, Shrewsbury. Pours a misty amber, large white head. Aroma of soft malts. Taste is smooth with light malt shades. A standard light bitter really. I expected it to be an unfussy, inoffensive accompaniment to family conversation, and it was.

Cask pint in The Ship Anson, Portsmouth on 13th March 2017. Golden amber pour, white affair of tight bubbles on top. Not the greatest beer I had on the day (or any day for that matter): slight malty lead with a weak hop underbelly. Faint aroma of malts in old boiled veg water, taste less veg, more old boiled water.

Cask ale, half-pint at The Ship in Chelmsford. A warm golden body under a white layer. Dotted spots on the glass. Mild caramel malty nose with hints of leafy hops. Moderately taste profile of malty sweetness and leafy hops. Vague malt-fruity end. Watered in the mouth. Accepted. (16.02.2017).

Cask at the Outlook, Reading. Light amber with a thin white head. Caramel, lemon and a good earthy bitterness in the finish. Well balanced and quite satisfying. Not amazing, but certainly much better than a sports tie-in beer from a GK-owned brewery has any right to be.
