Cask at The Justice Mill, JDW, Aberdeen. Pours clear gold with a tight, creamy head. Sweet, doughy and lightly toasted malts in the aroma. Sweet flavor with some creamy caramel, toasty dough, and light, leafy bitterness. Light bodied with fine, smooth carbonation. Cask at the Willow Walk (JDW), Victoria. Reddish amber with a thin cream head; fruity aroma; red fruit flavour with a touch of cherryade and a biscuity body; then a light but persistent bitterness to finish. Rather pleasant.

[Cask at the William Robert Loosley [JDW], High Wycombe) Amber, moderate white head. Cream and vanilla over a mild fruitiness; a slight bitterness in the finish. Possibly a little sweet and cloying in the finish, butperfectly drinkable. Overall it’s a pretty average beer, which for me counts as an improvement over this brewery’s normal performance.
