Pours hazy dark orange with thick white head. Aroma contains some citrus, exotic fruits and caramel. Flavor is pretty hoppy with citrus and flowers. A slightly bitter finish. All in all a very good IPA.

500ml bottle provided by Rune for our Summertime Beer Session 5.Jul.2011. The aroma of fresh orange, pineapple and sweeter fruit drifts towards me when the bottle is opened. Pours an amber body with a large frothy head, that leaves beautiful lacing on the glass. I inhale the pleasant aroma a few times, then I take the first sip: What a slap in the face! I sense some orange, spices and yeast, then the taste of astringent and sour/acidic vinegar overpowers everything. For several reasons I wanted to shed some tears- something must have gone terrible wrong with Batch 620!

I princip felfri, riktigt god.

50 cl. bottle, batch nr. 835B, poured in to a tulip. Orange-brown colour with a dense, off-white head. Sweet aroma with exotic fruits, floral and citrus hops, grapefruits, pine needles. A good amount of caramel malts. Taste is sweet, a bit too sweet for an IPA, if you ask me. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Finishes long lasting bitter with rich malts, a toffee-like note (The English yeasts?) and hops. A tad too sweet for me to be a really great IPA. Otherwise recormended, if you like sweeter IPAs.

Bottle from Barley Wine, Copenhagen - firstly amazing colour and appearance, a glowing vibrant orange/amber with a frothy medium persistent white head which is very inviting. Aroma and taste really impress with lovely hop character, and warming caramel Malt. Very reminiscent of the meantime india pale to my palate, but this is even better. Beautiful.

Bottle at IndyManBeerCon, 2012. It pours hazy deep orange, with a thick yellow-white head. The nose is orange, peach yoghurt, apricot, tangerine, pine and sherbet. The taste is tangerine, mango, tanginess, marmalade, pine, good hop bite, sour citrus, decent malt backbone and underlying spice, with a smooth, bitter finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Great flavour and balance. Delicious!

Bottle shared at and with JF on 30/09/12. Hazy mid amber with a thin off-white head. Hop forward nose, caramel malts, pine and light tropical fruit. Taste follows, tropical fruits, caramel malt, no hop bomb but hops present. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
