Handpull cask at the Devonshire Arms, Burton. Brownish gold, clear with a thin ring of white head and massive lacing. Astringent aroma with kumquat peel and tea tannins. Bitter taste with a long medicinal finish. Medium to full body with intense herbal bitterness in the aftertaste. Nothing overly special but enjoyable enough.

Cask pint in The Foresters Arms, Madeley Shropshire on 1st Nov 2016. Golden pour, smooth and lasting white crown. Decent enough blend, semi-sweet, semi-bitter and semi-dry tasting. No stand out aromas or flavours but I liked it, even if there was a slight citrus leaning throughout.
