2/6/2022. Cask at the 35th Colchester Real Ale & Cider Festival. Pours clear dark golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, malt, dried fruits, hint of syrup. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness and body. Slightly oily. watery, soft carbonation. Nice fruity finish. Lacked some body but not bad.

Cask @ Red Lion, Littleborough. Orange-amber with a small creamy head. Has a low bitterness and a decent smoothness with very light and very mild citrus orange flavours. There’s also a mild floralness in its nose.

Hand-pulled pint in The Crown Inn, Oakengates on 24th Jan 2014. Looked good with a full head, semi-sweet malty nose with some fruit hints. Became less malty and more hoppy as the pint began to sink. Belies it’s alcohol strength by being both tasty and fairly full bodied. I would have been happy on a session of these.

Sampled cask conditioned at Oliver Twist, Stockholm.
Deep golden, lightly hazy. Butter toffee aroma. Fairly sweet with filling, rounded mouthfeel. Chewy, despite it's low gravity. Mild flavour of honey and caramel, and a finish with low bitterness. Very British...
