Clear dark brown beer. Small off white head. Light dry palate. Dark toffee malt, whisper of smoke. Well balanced with some orangey hop.

Cask @ Counting House, JDW. Amber colour, off-white head. Aroma is light malted, a bit indistinguishable.Flavour is malty, chocolate and caramel indeed, some fruits. Slight sweet and dry finish. Meh.

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Pours clear garnet with a foamy, filmy head. Lightly roasted malts on the nose with toffee, caramel and light fruit. Lightly sweet flavor, some caramel and toffee, herbal bitters. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dry, leafy bitter finish with some crystal malts, light toffee. Not too bad.

Cask handpull at Crosse Keys London. Mid brown clear colour with lasting beige head. Its a pleasant malty slightly caramel beer. Some bitterness on finish. Yes slight caramel hints. Fine if unexciting.
