A weak looking ale, but its bitter weak taste is not as bad as its appearance.

JDW Fest. Hazy gold beer, residual white head. Dry palate. Trace of paint. A little citrus. Overdry, dull and a bit odd. Bitterish aftertaste. Drinkable though!

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Clearish, rich gold pour with aum, off-white head. Woody malt aroma, some herbal tea. Lightly sweet flavor, dankness like weed, some mild citrus rot. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Earthy, dank finish, light malts, some grass. Weird but alright.

Cask @ Edward Wylie, JDW. Golden colour, white head. Standard bitter that is well executed. Aroma is light malted and citrus, with some vegetables. Flavour is malty and fruity, followed by dry biscuit.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 25/03/2011. Deep gold in colour with a slight white head. Dry aroma of cereal malts with a touch of apricot. Flavour was very bitter, with some chunky malts and a touch of fruity sweetness. Ok.
