Rather than marking the end of summer, Autumn Dawn is all about celebrating the beginning of the golden season - it's a beautiful time on the Isle of Man, especially on the western shores, with those spectacular sunrises and sunsets inspiring this pure ale. If you could capture the taste of the Autumn sun, then it is in a glass of Autumn Dawn.
A full bodied light golden-brown beer. A fairly lightly hopped beer but with however a distinct citric aroma and pronounced fruity hop afternotes.
Ingredients: PA Malt, crystal and amber malt, Ist Copper Hops First Gold 2nd Late Hop Hallertau, Brewer's Gold and Styrian Goldings.

Cask at The Cleveland Arms, London. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Weak aroma, subtle straw and white sugar. Light sweet flavor, mild biscuits, faint bitterness of straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Fairly bland finish, light sweetness and even lighter bitterness. Still some hay, biscuits, crackers. Not offensive.

Spoons festival! Very slightly hazy amber beer. Untidy off white head. Smooth low carbonation palate, a little dry. Minerally hop - bordering on metallic. Paradoxically the hop is quite tame. Some dry malt underneath. Finishes smooth. Bland and over tangy!

Cask Conditioned at Woodin’s Shades, London
Cloudy golden color, with a creamy head. Bad aroma, like the beer that flows in the tray, or fermenting fruits; is this the first pint of the day? The body is soft, but there is an unexpected sourness; less bad than the aroma, but very suspicious. I can’t drink it.
