Cask at Victoria station, Wetherspoons, London before Christmas. An amber coloured pour with a medium off white head. Maltty aroma. Tastes malty, fruity, caramel, coriander. Quite unusual but fairly drinkable too.

Half pint, hand pump cask ale at Standing Order (JDW). Hazy, orange coloured body. Spotty, head-lacing. Aroma of wheaty fruits. Unmistakable wheat beer flavour due to coriander part. Bready malts beneath and hints of sour wheat. Unvaried and far from great (Edinburgh, 29.11.2010).

Spoons Fest! Clear dark brown beer, ghostly head. Light and semi dry palate. A little malt intro reveals a lovely orange, lemon and lime fruit punch and then delivers some trace notes of raspberry and strawberry. Finishes spritzy and light. Beautifully flavoured beer - could drink this all night. Clear Fest winner for me.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol 9/11/10. Copper coloured with a decent, off-white head. Sweetish, malty aroma with some berry fruit and green herbs. Flavour was similar, with some sweetness, a touch of coriander seed and decent, bitter finish. Fine.

Cask at The Tyburn JDW. Pours clear copper with a sturdy, tan head. Bread malt aroma with some earthy hops and faint spices. Lightly sweet flavor with orange and coriander notes, followed by mild, straw and citrusy bitters. Extremely smooth body, with fine, creamy carbonation. Finishes with more coriander and citrus. I actually quite liked this.

Cask handpull at county hotel jdw ashford. First beer rated on my new android phone. Clear deep chestnut colour lasting cream head. Yes it has some kind of spice in there whether i could tell it was coriander i would doubt. Soft in mouth with some ok malt. Fairly light in mouth with not much dryness. In fact some more spice on finish. Condition is fine too. Ok if not exactly exciting.
