Cask-conditioned, at the Seven Stars, Bristol 7/4/2018. Golden in colour with a slight, off-white, head. Some citrus hops, pineapple fruits, and biscuity malts, with a whiff of pine before a dryish finish. Good.

Cask at the Haltwhistle Comrades Club. Yellow gold with a sizeable head. Grassy and slightly medicinal aroma. Taste is bitter/sour with a regrettable acrid, almost bilious finish. In perfect condition, but not a recipe I particularly enjoyed.

Cask at the Watford Beer Festival 2013. Poured a hazy gold with a small, rocky white head. Aroma of grassy hop, pineapple and a hint of wet dog. Wet grass flavour with pear drops and lemon zest. Finish was stale malts, biscuit and white grapes.

Cask at CP&K. It pours clear straw yellow, with a thin foamy white head and no carbonation. The nose is Weetabix, floral, white bread and mild cheddar cheese. The taste is straw, weak lemon, metal, hay, butter and white bread, with a light bitter finish. Bland and boring.

Cask at Southampton Arms, London on 26th January 2011. Yellowy gold; thin, dying ring of foam. Sweetish aroma with berry fruits. Fruitiness and sweet caramel notes in-mouth and a rather sweet endtaste. Disappointing as an IPA.
