This golden cask lager has been brewed especially for this JDW beer festival (Oct-Nov 2009), using a carefully prepared lager malt and three varieties of German Hallertau hops, giving a light bitterness and a taste which is clean, with a tangy edge.

Spoons Fest. Clear gold beer. Light palate with zero carbonation! Mmmmmm! Light malt base with zesty citrus - orange and a hint of lime. Finishes semi dry. What a shame this beer has no condition!

Cask handpull at County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. Gold clear cask lager. Not the greatest beer in the world. Lacks condition and freshness. No horrible flavours as it lacks most flavours. Pretty awful.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Straw coloured with a fomay white head; aroma of grains and honey; clean flavour with some sweet grain and a touch of citrus; light dry bitter finish. A good cask lager.
