Spoons Fest. Clear amber beer. Soft palate. Low carbonation. Even malt base for sweet grassy hops. Pretty decent hops here, satisfying! Light citrus complements the grassy hops. Without doubt the best Sheps beer I’ve had. Some condition would be even better!

On cask handpull at Samuel Peto, JDW, Folkestone. Copper colour, thikc beige head. Hoppy Sheps aroma with some house yeast. Lots of hops upfront for this brewery. Soft in mouth due to sparkler with some decent hop on finish. Cascades work well. very Cascade aroma. Bit light on malts to back the hops up though. Would never guess this was a Sheps beer. Pretty good.

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Amber with a soapy looking cream coloured head; a marvelous pine forest aroma - just what I expect from Cascade; citrus, resinous flavour; the finish is sweet at first then sharply bitter. A pleasant change from the usual SN.
