Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is juicy pine, light caramel, brioche, citrus peel and panetonne. The taste is pine, decent bitterness, varnish, earth, toast, citrus peel and faint sherbet with a dry, earthy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Alright but feels a bit flat to be honest. A touch sweet. OK.

Cask (Forth Hotel, Newcastle) - Amber in colour. Mango, lychees and peach in the aroma. Pine, grapefruit and passion fruit feature in the tangy, hoppy and bitter taste.

Bright clear burnished gold beer. Small white head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. The malt is pretty thin but forms enough of a base to support the great hops - orange peel marmalade, fresh orange and a light trace of lemon. Finishes dry. Clean and very drinkable. Another winner from Great Heck.

Bottle from Bier Huis, Ossett. Clear golden. Minimal, white head. Malt sweetness. Light grapefruit. Tropical fruit juice. Taste is malty sweet. Some light caramel. Slightly chewy. Bitterness only appears when it’s all gone.
