NEW Autumn 2013: Pale IPA with good bitterness using lots of American Columbus, Chinook, Cascade and Citra for flavour and aroma and dry hopped during fermentation with Columbus, Willamette and Cascade. A bold, hoppy beer you’d expect from Great Heck!

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is juicy pine, light caramel, brioche, citrus peel and panetonne. The taste is pine, decent bitterness, varnish, earth, toast, citrus peel and faint sherbet with a dry, earthy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Alright but feels a bit flat to be honest. A touch sweet. OK.

Bright clear burnished gold beer. Small white head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. The malt is pretty thin but forms enough of a base to support the great hops - orange peel marmalade, fresh orange and a light trace of lemon. Finishes dry. Clean and very drinkable. Another winner from Great Heck.
