Cask gravity at Reading BF 2014. Hazy gold amber colour lasting white head. Piney grapefruit aroma. Decent grapefruit apa ipa. It’s amazing for a UK brewer to produce something like this outside of the Bermondsey run. Hoppy fruity good ipa.

Cask at the Chequers, Oxford, Saturday 12th April 2014 Had this shortly after meeting the legend that is Sir Roger Bannister ay Blackwells, Oxford. Hazy gold, bittersweet a tropical fruity nose this is repeated in the mouth, wonderfully hoppy but carried forward on a wonderful sweet silky smooth malty seam of goodness, utterly marvellous. On cask at the Haymarket. Appearance -golden with a nice creamy head. Nose - gentle orange and cream. Taste - tangy orange perhaps even apricot. There’s also some grassiness in there. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - good ipa. I would perhaps prefer a little more early hopping to add a palate cleansing aspect to it. The late hopping is great.

Bottle shared at Garbage Night II - London. Pours totally clear gold with a frothy, big bubble off-white head. Lightly sugary pale, doughy bread in the nose with note of melon, orange, subtle pine. Medium sweet flavor with minerals, orange, dry pale bread and melon. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Light dry pine needles to finish with further melon, orange, balancing pale bread sweetness. Not bad overall.
