Clear pale gold beer. Coriander added to the boil. Dry palate! Fruity - orange and yellow fruits. Coriander fruity citrus and sweetness. Nice.

Cask handpull at The Hope Tap, JDW, Reading. Gold, lasting thick off white head. Looking forward to this as I like Roosters. Fragrant spice runs through it, doesn’t dominate but definite presence. Subtle perfumed spice on aroma, bit of caramel in flavour. Finish is pretty muted. Not very hoppy.

Cask, half pint served at the very right drinking temperature at The Wheatsheaf Bar in Stoke. Well kept beer with a delicious aroma of floral hops. Mild spiced taste with a discreet touch of soft grapefruits. Short bitter endnotes. Rather thin on the swallow. Golden-amber body with no head. Great aroma, but weaker in flavour (JDWs Real Ale Festival, 02.05.2009).

Cask at W’Spoons Northwood Hills. Golden beer with a slight head. Fresh, fruity, citrus. Hops were not overpowering. Overall not bad for a festival beer at Spoons one of the better offerings.

[Gravity cask at Back of Beyond, Reading] Golden amber. Initial taste of straw and farmyard, slight carbonation. Flavour grows to reveal earth and then a spicy tingle, which I couldn’t identify as coriander particularly but was nevertheless quite pleasant. Some fruit, smoke and bitter citrus in finish. After disliking this initially, I grew to like it quite a lot. c5

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 18/04/09. Golden in colour with a slight white head. Citrus hop and sweet malts aroma. Flavour had plenty of marmalade fruitiness, more citrus hops and a vague herbal edge, before a decent dry finish. Great stuff - a big dose of coriander was thankfully absent.
