Cask, 4.5% at the brewery tap. Sourish aroma, a bit like raisin. Almost clear dark amber colour. The flavour is sweet and sourish. Has some acidic raisin.

Cask, Hoylake Lights (JDW). Looked promising enough -reddish brown with lasting white head. Slightly sweet aroma with hint of caramel. Some maltiness in the flavour but a really insipid and watery feel to this. Really disappointing. A chore to drink.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 28/3/08. Deep amber with a sweetish malt aroma. Easy drinking with some red fruit, caramel and a short dry finish. Forgettable.

Cask handpull at Lord Moon of the Mall โSporks. I really should have done my research first. I knew that I had this in bottle, but didnโt think the cask would be a separate rating. Quite sweet malts, decent lager though. Rich and tasty, full mouthfeel. I agree with Chris_o, I found it tasty in cask form. 3.4/5 Re-rate County Hotel, only just came on. Thick head, but no sparkler. Great condition, bit of puke, but very good red fruit too, I mean it has the elements of a bock, but at 4.5%? Great condition. Settles down in to a fruity beer. Malts are good, so is the fruit and a stinging finish in middle of tongue. Oddly drinkable.
