[cask at Back of Beyond, Reading - 5% version] Smells like hooegarden with spice, taste like a white beer at first but a sweet sickly flavour soon overtakes everything else - yes its like a cookie dissolved in white beer, but this is nothing to be proud of

Cask at the Monks Retreat (JDW), Reading - 5% ABV Well this is certainly something different. Hazy amber with a white head; aroma has sour fruit and yeast - very Belgian in style; sweet and chewy, rich and buttery body with complex flavours - cookie spices, apricot jam, chocolate chips and slightly doughy; spicy and warming finish. Unusual, worht trying, but probably only once.

Cask handpull at Victoria ’Sporks. Not sure what to expect. Gold colour, slight haze, thin beige head. It’s a doughy Belgian blond, with Belgian yeast and rose petal fruit on aroma with this dough/biscuit edge. Better than I expected given the only other Ultra been I’ve had is the vimto fruit beer. Slightly sweet standard Belgain blond.

Cask at JDW ... Hazy yellow ... thin foam head ... sweet belgian hop ... very sweet lots of belgian fruity hop ... Definitly a little cookie ... some breadyness ... little lemon spice... but in the end just a bit too sweet though i could easily savour a pint of this.
