Gravicask at the Angel mini beer festival, Kelvedon. Clear amber beer, residual white head. Light crisp palate. Nice combination of mild toffeeish malt with fruit salad and a splash of coca cola. Finishes semi dry, malty aftertaste.

Cask, handpump at The Turf Tavern, Oxford 02.09.10 Pours reddy brown with a light foamy head. This is malty in the mouth and with a nice fruity aroma, I get plum skin’s, tangy and tasty but no world beater. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Cask-conditioned at the Coronation, Bristol 24/08/10. Deep, clear chestnut in colour with a billowy white head. Nutty aroma with some bready malts and hint of sweetness. Flavour was malty with plenty of hedgerow plum fruit, sweetish cereals, a touch of marmalade and a decent, bitter finish. Unusual and enjoyable.

Cask. Somewhere in Helsinki. No sign of where, but had it late 2006. Amber meets nutbrown colour with small head that vanishes quite quick. Aroma is wood, some toffee and mild dark berryish notes. Flavour is hops, wood and some slight citrusfruits.

(Cask at Priory Arms, Stockwell, London, 7 Aug 2007) Chestnut brown colour with brief head. Malty nose with dark fruit, raisins and prunes. Malty taste with notes of dark fruit, toffee and earthy hops in the finish. Was there a hint of butterscotch as well? A bit too much malt sweetness for me. As some have stated before me, a bit odd, but drinkable.

Cask gravity at Ashford Rugby Club BF 2007. Chestnut colour with lasting beige head. Odd washing up liquid lemon up front. Some good cakey fruity malt. Lemon is there, but settle down to lemon curd. Odd but strangely enjoyable.
