Bottle shared by Benzai, 15 cl sample. Hazy golden color, medium frothy head. Aroma of funk and barnyard, slight spicy and quite some sweet herbal maltiness. Bit tart in flavor, quite some sweet apple sweetness as well. Bit unbalanced, and too high in alcohol.

Bottle @ Caesar shared with Caesar and Skortila. Slightly unclear yellow color, average sized beige head. Aroma is sourish and piss. Taste is sharply sour, unpleasantly sour imo. No, can’t drink this. Bleh. Too sour.

Poured from a bottle. Aroma is nice with some bright grain notes and hints of caramel and candi sugar. Nice citrus note with quite a bit of orange as well as some light stone fruit. Light alcohol spice. Some oak character. Pours a hazy, golden orange with a small, moderately thin, white head that recedes to a thin film that lingers. Light lacing and moderate length legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet but finishes fairly dry. Medium light citrus and orange notes. Hints of stone fruit. Medium oak notes and hints of alcohol. Some light floral esters. Mouthfeel is medium full bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice beer but kinda odd. Lots of orange and oak. Meh.
