Bottle. Dark brown colour, nice beige frothy head. Aroma is coffee, resin. Medium bitterness, pleasant but after drinking half bottle becomes harsh. Definitely not like Belgian beer, it’s more like BIPA. Overall - good beer.

Opaque dark brown beer, huge pale tan head. Palate is light, fairly dry and has modest fine carbonation. Mildly creamy malts, tangy and a little sweet. Lots of eathyness here, earthy coffee, earthy dark chocolate. Light fruity tang. Earthy finish. Quite interesting but would not be drinking loads of this.

Ocena z notatek. Czarne, z niską drobną pianą. W aromacie połączenie amerykańskiego chmielu i ciasteczkowości. W smaku również przede wszystkim ciasteczka, choć jest też paloność. Udane piwo.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, mahogany colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Roasty malty, dark bready, slightly fruity aroma, hints of pumpernickel, plum, couverture. Taste is minimally sweet roasty dark malty, minimally papery, slightly fruity, notes of plum, raisin, dried fruit; soft, almost flat carbonation, minimally crumbly palate.

Bottle @ home shared with Joes. Opaque muddy brown color, medium sized quite thick beige head. Smell and taste malts, brown malts, an unexpected sort of fruitpeel tart maltyness. Weird mix of flavors, I don’t like it.

Botte @ benzai. Dark Brown colour with a small of-f-white head. Smells sweet, roasty, coffee, alcohol. Tastes roasty, alcohol, quite sweet, slightly Haagse hopjes. Not bad. Medium to full body, soft carbo.

Dark beer with low to medium head. Lots of coffee in aroma. Also a lot of smoked hints. Medium bitterness and sweetness. Medium body, oily texture. Medium carbonation.

From tap. Pours hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and light phenolic. Toasted malty, caramelish and phenolic. Bitter, phenolic, dry and toasted dark malty. Bitter and roasted dry finish.
