Hop Riot IPA is our flagship beer. Brewed in the American IPA style with a definitive "Left Coast" attitude. We brew our IPA with an aggressive bitterning level which is complimented and balanced by a defined malt backbone. Our final signature is the dry hop step where fresh hops are immersed in the finished beer to provide the floral and citrus aromas of our IPA, a Hop Riot indeed.

THANKS! 15 cl. draft @ Delrium Hoppy Loft. Brownish hazy orange with creamy white head. Thick orange, grapefruit, flower hop nose with some sweetness underneath. Taste is thick creamy orange, grapefruit hop, light bitter grass in the back, thick sweet orange & caramel sweetish base, hops dominate, creamy. Robust & very solid IPA.

Bottle, 0.65l, courtesy of Bongtribe. Clear pale golden color with large rocky white head, great lacing and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of mild grapefruit, flowers, resin hops and spicy hops. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel and toasted malt, follows by fresh citric and hoppy acidity, while finish is medium hoppy with strong and long aftertaste. Full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Excellent IPA, seems perfectly balanced to me, although quite aggresive in the beginning. Thanks to Bongtribe for sharing :)

650ml bottle from Bierkompass

Pours orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of grassy hops, bready malts, earthy notes, hay, fruits and caramel. Taste is smooth, bready malty, crispy hoppy, grassy and fruity with notes of hay, herbs and pine. Finish is lingering bitter, crisp malty and slightly bready with grassy and herbal notes. Not your typical American IPA, but still quite good.

65 cl bottle @ home
Aroma is somewhat gluey and sweet with caramel, fruity hops and hints of hay. Flavour has glue, some fruits, caramel and biscuits. Also distant hayish notes. A bit too much on the glue side, but not bad still.

0.65l bottle. This is a light cloudy kinda golden looking one with a small almost bubbly and only light lacing off-white head. On the nose it's mildly hoppy and almost a bit tea like. I get traces of something generic herbal and a little bit of hay. Not to spectacular really, but fair. It has a light oily, almost a little thin mouthfeel and a soft + carbonation level. That tea like hoppiness continues in the taste as well. Grassy bitter, quite a lot. Feels like it's lacking some malt sweetness to balance all that grassiness. A little melon zesty bitterness on the light mouthdrying finish and aftertaste. Must admit that I had hoped for a bit more. Fair is a good word to sum this one up, but most likely it's just a bit lesser fresh than it is intended to be. Is this my first beer from High Water? That's strange as I feel like it always seeing these bottles. 06.11.2013

Bottle, Kris Wines, London. Amber pour with a creamy white head and some lace. Aroma was tropical fruits and piney hop. Similar sweetish flavour with caramel malts alongside some decent hop bitterness. All fine and dandy but somehow lacks the knockout blow that really slaps you around the taste buds. Probably much better fresh.

Light haze on this gold beer. Decent pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth and a little soft. fine carbonation. Good hops - fresh orange and a sharp orange peel bitterness. Bitter pine and a trace of mango led tropical fruits. Little aniseed. Light lemon and grapefruit. Finishes neutral with a strong bitter linger.

10.10.2013, 0,65l bottle @ home:
Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly fresh and concentrated, lots of hops, leafs, pine needles, rubber, grass, alcohole, caramel malts. Taste is kind of harsh and watery, bark, pine needles, harsh grass, hay, leafs. Medium to longlasting bitterness, dry and very thin mouthfeel. Next!!
