Hop Riot IPA is our flagship beer. Brewed in the American IPA style with a definitive "Left Coast" attitude. We brew our IPA with an aggressive bitterning level which is complimented and balanced by a defined malt backbone. Our final signature is the dry hop step where fresh hops are immersed in the finished beer to provide the floral and citrus aromas of our IPA, a Hop Riot indeed.

1pt 6 fl oz bottle. Clear orange amber colour, foamy off white head and aroma of floral tropical fruits, grapefruit, pine, hop resin. Taste is malt caramel with orange rind, grapefruit and pine hop bitterness, plus lots of grassy, woody & vanilla notes. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, some sweetness, dry bitter finish. Very drinkable IPA.

Bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus, Ansjelaah and Joes. Hazy orange color, small to medium sized white head. Aroma of malts, hops, lightly resinous. Taste malts, hops, resinous, pine, lovely bitterness. Oh great beer, love this! Flavor is like a double IPA without the sweetness you get sometimes, very nicely bitter, superbly hopped. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. Damn nice!

Bottle from Pibar, Lausanne
Hazy light amber color with creamy, persistent head. Very nice aroma, toffee and fruity hops, hint of roasted peanuts. Toffee flavor, some caramel, with a mouthfeel that is drier than any other IPA at this gravity; extreme hopping, providing an abrasive bitterness, loads of resins and still some fruitiness; it has a sharp, spicy character; the final is almost astringent.
An extreme beer, shouting loud.

Sample from 650 ml. bottle. Clear, deep golden colour with a dense, white head. Sweet and fruity aroma with citrus, floral hops, grapefruit and a herbal-spicy note. A good amount of caramel malts. Taste is light sweet. Medium body, average carbonation. Finishes bitter and fruity with floral hops. Very nice "Left coast".
