Draft sample @ Birra Expo’14 Piacenza.

Bottle, Beers of Europe. Amber pour with a lingering white head. Vague citrus and grassy hop in the nose. Flavour was sweet malts and a little citrus. Rather muted bitterness. Nothing special really and a bit lacklustre. Decent enough Ramones reference though.

Bottle @ home shared with Thompson. Hazy dark orange color, full sized rough off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma is malts, lightly yeast, but nicely fruit hops as well. Taste malts, fruit hops, moderately bitter. Bitter finish. Medium body and carbonation. Not bad but a little unbalanced imo.

75cl Bottle from About Jackie. Hazy amber-orange colour, dense frothy off white head. Aroma is quite malty, sweet, caramel, soft tropical fruits and light citrusy hops. Flavour is very malt-forward, some caramel, sweet, fruity, some orange and grapefruit, bitter malty and yeasty finish with some hops. Medium-bodied. Nice.

Very hazy amber beer with a tidy off white head. Palate is airy and semi dry with crisp minerally carbonation. Soft malt carrying a little caramel. Tastes slightly oxidised! Mild malt cream. Touches of bitterness and mild citric hop. Okay.
