Thurbo Stout got its name from the village nearby, these days spelt Turbo. A rich Imperial stout brewed on a range of malts, oatmeal and smoked malt. The smoked malt is present give a complexity to the roasted notes. A great beer to enjoy with a chocolate dessert.

Espuma cremosa y abundante, beige. Aroma a café y chocolate.

330 ml bottle. Black body with a big, foamy beige head that fades quite fast with solid lacings. Looks great. Nice, strong aroma of dark roasted malt, lots of coffee and some dark chocolate. Flavor has nice roasted dark malt, expresso coffee, dark chocolate, a hint of vanilla, some fruitiness and good balanced bitterness. Fine balanced body and long lasting delicious aftertaste with lots of dark malt. A really good and tasty stout with a perfect balance, feels both sweet and a bit tart at the same time. Very smooth, alcohol is well hidden. Nothing spectacularly or weird going on here, just a very well made easy to drink and still tasty enough to be a beer I could drink anytime. Highly enjoyable.
