Can sampled at Borefts ’15. Pours clear pale golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, grain and light fruity hops. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with light carbonation.

Sampled from can. Clear golden color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, quite floral, lightly bitter, a hint of metal. Moderately bitter, average body.

Thanks for sharing! 500 ml. can sampled @ Borefts 2015. Day 2. Didn’t take proper notes since I didn’t fully realize that this one is a different version from the regular one. Taste is similar, biscuit, creamy bread yeast, light pepper, touch more floral hops maybe, some grass (which I didn’t note in my review of the regular one). Both are great.

Klare goldene Farbe, geringe weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht hopfig, grasig trocken. Geschmack getreidig malzig, leicht hopfig, grasig bitter.

Clear pale blond beer, practically no head. Aroma: very malty, some citrus, little soapy. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: bitter start, very malty, grains, hay. Aftertaste: grassy, pretty bitter, bit fruity, some sweet malts.

500ml can. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Dark yellow. Bit of haze. Thin, dense, lasting, sticky, white head. Plenty of hoppage. Surprisingly fusty and spicy. A bit piny and dank. Don’t get much in the way of pilsener character, other than a light dry, light spice maltiness. Taste is fairly bitter. Decent body. Full, soft carbonation. Long, bitter finish with a light dry close. I’d never have guessed at hoppy pilsener with this, but as a dry, punchy hopped, pale ale, it’s great.
