Bottle shared at the Hackobock tasting at Craft Islington. Thanks to Kenny. It pours black with a decent tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, coconut, vanilla, sweet bourbon, pretty filthy, candy and rocky road. The taste is rich roasted malt, earthy roast, toasted pine, cocoa, dried fruits, rocky road, wood, toasted coconut and warming alcohol. Full body and moderate carbonation. Not a huge amount of depth, but enjoyable nonetheless.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Mitchy. Pours black-brown with a frothy, beige head. The nose holds burnt wood, light ash, hints of cocoa, dried berries. Medium sweet flavour with notes of alcohol, dark fruits, berries, rich chocolate, earthy bitterness. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish, with decent balance, vanilla, bittersweet chocolate, charred wood. Great stuff.

Retronasal it’s sweet, roasted, alcohol/whiskey, light wood. Flavor is rather sweet, roasty, fruit. Strong alcohol feel. Body is medium to full. Finishes roasty, light bitter, light ash. Nice one!

Thank you for sharing tderoeck & Erwin! 650 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBSG V. Black, dark mocha head, solid & bubbly. Nose is warming licorice, spirit, oak, low fruity blueberry, warming with oak but not quite the classical Bourbon BA RIS profile,… Warming taste, mildly boozy in a good way, syrup, sugar, molasses, sugar, faint plastic, dark fruits, sugar, oak,… Thick viscous, warming qualities, syrup, quite pleasant, bit raw,… More waring than bourbon heavy,… Still thick, rich warming viscous goodness,..; Could have been a tad more but it’s already very good.
