Licht zurig. Bourbon ba ris meets flemish red. Het is nog niet heel erg, maar ik had hem niet langer moeten bewaren. Matig

Bottle. Color: Black, light brown head. Aroma: Dark roasted malt, liquorice, boozy and vanilla hints, slightly fruity sourness. Taste: Dark roasted malt, some liquorice and dark chocolate, notes of Bourbon, vanilla and bit boozy. Notes of sweet-sourish blueberries and light hints of banana. Decent bitterness. Over medium to full body, below average carbonation. A bit sharp and unbalanced, some raw edges and lacking some complexity compared to the top of the Bourbon Imperial Stouts but overall quite nice.

Grand tasting at Craft Islington with Hackobock. Opaque black - brown beer, good tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Fluffy and mildly tangy dark malts. Dark chocolate and smooth malts cream. Tangy smooth bourbon soaked fruits. A little vanilla. Airy semi dry finish. Smooth but very drinkable.
