Bottle at home, koszi Panni! Full disclaime: I let the beer warm up real good, notes were taken only afterwards. Jet black pour with beige head. Nose is chocolate, nuts, rye, dried fruits, some smoke and sweet booze. Taste is the dumbed down version of this with some booze, chocolate, slight bitterness and earthy notes. Closes with long bittersweet finish, has surprisingly light body and soft carbonation.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Caramel, cedarwood wood, almonds, roast and floral notes in the aroma. Full bodied. Malty sweet, alcoholic flavor with roast, floral, perfumed notes and amaretto. Cedarwood. Odd but Nice.

Bottle bought from the brewery at LIB festival in Leiden. Pours black with a fine sheen of head, actually very deep red. Aroma is malty and roasty, with hints of coffee; even very hoppy actually, fitting the BIPA at 14%. Pine and herbal hops aromas. Lot of complexity. Big body with a thick oily mouthfeel. Flavour is malty and quite sweet, caramel and molasses. Lot of almond flavours from the amaretto. Lot of wood, rye gives spiciness to it. A very interesting black IPA, I think it's still in style, just amplified to a crazy level. Intense amaretto and wood notes. Lovely.

Bottle 33 cl. pours an opaque black with a smallish, beige head. Nose is mostly sweet roast with only a hint of hops. Body is surprisingly kinda vague with soft roast and very distinct tannins from the wood. I don't really get much of an IPA feeling at all, but it is indeed an extreme beer with a very distinct booziness. 171218
