From tap at Borefts ’15. Aroma of sour fruits, citrus, lemon peel, hint of funk. Flavour is medium to heavy sour. Body is medium. Very easily drinkable and refreshing. Not very ’wild’, but nicely sour.

11/10/2020. Sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers. Pours clear pale gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of over-ripe fruits, persimmon fruit, caramel, sweet malt, yeast and light woody notes. Moderate sweetness and light sour. Medium body, average carbonation. This worked ok for me.

At long last typing in the last backlog from Borefts 2015. Funky brett character, but with strong yeasty off-notes

330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours hazy yellowy gold, very thin receding head. Aroma is lemon and walnuts. Taste is walnuts, herbs, lemon with a bizarre wild organism feel going on. More walnuts. Nice but find myself yearning for a nice tart bite.

Bottle courtesy of Geraint and Helen, thanks you two. Consumed at home Thursday 3rd December 2015. Pours a yellow gold colour, quite hazy. Tart, tangy, in the mouth on the aroma this is mildly tarty but a blunted fruitiness. The tartness is measured and not OTT, it’s good. A7 A3 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5
