500ml wax sealed bottle (BBD 15th Feb 18) between four of us at the 25th Oct 16 Shrewsbury Beer Share; cheers Mat for this one. Amber pour, beige head, smooth body feel. Malty molasses in the nose and flavour, caramel being the main feature. Some mixed fruity notes in the taste too, fairly sweet throughout and easy to drink for such a strong ABV: liked it.

500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Oct 16. Brought by me, from trade with AshtonMcCobb. Many thanks. Pours a clear, deep amber. Aroma is light caramel, belgian yeast, earthy malt. Taste is smooth, mild stewed fruits, caramel.. quite light for the ABV. Decent but lacks punch.

Bottle shared at the chriso Easter 2015 tasting - London. Cheers, Craigy! Pours clear russet-gold with a white foam topping. The nose holds ripening fruits, light Belgian yeast. Big sweet flavor with lots of candi sugar, bread, fruits. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Warming finish with lots of sticky sugars, white bread, yeast, alcohol, wheat. Tasty, if a bit punchy.

Bottle from Hippo Beers, Glasgow, consumed at home Saturday 4th July 2015 shared with dad Pours deep amber with a few white islands atop. Very sweet but surprisingly easy to drink for an 11% beer, really easy in fact. The caramelised figs show themselves as a sweet sticky fruitiness in the beer that masks the bitterness a little and becomes the defining feature. It’s fruity but too sweet, it has a gentle bitterness, it’s ok. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4

Bottle at Chriso easter tasting. Thanks to Craig. 04/04/2015. Clear golden orange coloured pour with halo of white head. Aroma is mineral, nutty, metallic, caramel, light Belgian yeast, little tangerine. Flavour is composed of nutty toffee, mineral, twig, light Belgian yeast, tangerine. Light spice. Palate is semi sweet with moderate carbonation. Ok. Decent.

0,5L bottle, BB 15.02.2018 (from Drink Shop, Tallinn). Pours hazy amber with beige head. The small head stays. Aroma is sweet, fruits, apples, citrus, caramel. Flavor is sweet, malt, caramel, fruits, citrus, grapefruit, alcohol, and spices. Finish is sweet and dry bitter. Overall: nice brew, but rather simple for the style.
