Pours clear light amber. Small white head. Smell is sweet, Malty, yeasty. Taste is bit sweet, very yeasty, intense aromatic yeast. I would have liked more complex taste, and way less yeasty taste.

Hazy yet brilliant medium amber colour, good frothy off-white head, half-way lasting, good lacing. Sweet aroma, toasted malts, orange, caramel, cane sugar, rum, spices. Taste heavy sweet and slightly bitter, malty, sugary, toffee, alcohol, spicy. Malty sweetbitter aftertaste, burned caramel, sugary, spicy notes. Medium to full body, oily texture, too sweet and alcohol lacks finesse, but drinkable.

Copper colour. Aroma is full of caramel as is the flavour. Texture is thick and sticky. Lasting bitterness in the aftertaste.

Bottled from Biernavigatie, BB 31-03-2018, large sample. Clear amber color, medium frothy head. Aroma of spicy yeast, coriander, flowery hops, bit green apple. Quite sweet in taste, spicy, bit alcoholic, some caramel. Sugary alcohol bomb. Typical belgian 80s style. Ok though.

Bottle shared at Jopen, Waarderpolder. Hazy dark amber with a small white head. Aroma of biscuity malt, cardboard, caramel, herbal notes, light raisin, toffee and alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. The alcohol is actually pretty well hidden considering the ABV, but it’s still there, it’s still too much and unnecessary.
