The lambic made at Oud Beersel since 2004 (some years after the original brewer had stopped his activities there). An elegant, estery, pleasantly woody orange blonde lambic with hints of apple, a ’mals’ character, well rounded with restrained vinegar-like acidity especially in the long, complex finish.

On tap, just under a year old, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma is pretty funky, with light leather, and wet wood. Flavour is very similar, with a dry puckering mouthfeel. Dry, bitter, and lightly funky on the finish. Very good stuff.

Not a very interesting lambic, but even an average lambic is a great beer. Freshly sour, with just a mild tardiness. Interesting to only drink the young version for once.

Tap @ Boelekewis, Dworp, medium sample. Hazy orange color, no head. Aroma is mostly citric acid, hint of lactic acid, bit barnyard and horseblanket, soft fruitiness. Soft sour, slight fruity sweet. Overall mostly citric acid, but very nicely balanced and smooth. Great balance between sweet and sour. Wonderful jonge lambik.

3 oz. pour at 9th Belgian Brew fest at Ebenezer’s. I keep trying Lambic to see if my palate will agree with it someday. Well, going to keep Trying I guess. Cloudy bright yellow / white color. Flavor is funky cheese, sour lemon rind, bitter grapefruit and slightly acidic. Whoa way to young.

Slightly cloudy golden colour, slight diminishing white head. Aroma of citrus, light sour, light sweet touch, light butterscotch. Light sweet flavour, sour touch, citrus, lemon peel, tart hints. Finish citrus, tart, light sour, light sweet.
Nice. I prefered the 1.5yo lambic served inside the brewery over this one, but very tasty nonetheless.
(Draught @ the brewery, visited during Tour de Geuze 2013. When asked it was stated to be a young lambic, though no precise age statement was given)

Pretty nice surprise seeing this on tap @ Little Delirium between an otherwise not terribly palatable beer list - 25 cl. draft - lightly hazy golden with only some lambic bubbles for head - aroma is a bit on the sweeter side lemons, some apples, dusty, light musty horseblanket, quite light - taste is rather sweet lemons, acidity is pretty low, mellow tart apples, peel, lime, light touch horseblanket - flat - this stuff is light, mellow, drinks like water - very, simple, lambic is about as simple as beer gets, quite enjoyable, blending, aging, etc. obviously means obviously a lot for the lambic plus the variations are always huge - they don’t serve the good lambic draft- good lambic is for blending into weaker lambic to have a consistent quality geuze if the other lambic turns out to be of weaker quality or to make special blends - def. better than the old one I tried way back

Bag-in-the-box at Delirium Tremens, Brussels
Hazy golden color, no head. The aroma is medium pungent, a bit lemony, cobwebs, light cheese. The low carbonation provides a soft mouthfeel; mild lemony flavor and mild astringency, not dry. Pleasant and refreshing, although not very complex.
