Bottled. An opaque dark red beer with a thin pinkish head. The aroma has strong notes of cherries and almonds. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat, cherries, and spices, leading to a dry spicy and wheaty finish. The body is light. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Bottle, 5.7%. Very weak fruity aroma. Cloudy nice deep red colour. Small white head. The flavour has a bit of raspberry and a lot of plastic. Rough plastic, not the perfumy kind. Bad.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a hazy red with a pinkish head. Tart cherry aroma. Light body, very distinct cherry notes, must be essence. Starts sweet but ends rather dry and sulphurous. 211009

(33cl bottle) Hazy, dark red coloured hue with a rocky pink to red coloured foamy head. A cherry Wit which actually smells like raspberry, also quite sugary sweet and spicy with a tinge of sourness and restrained wheaty notes. Sweet and slightly sourish flavour, medium bodied with a rather soft carbonation. Moderately cherry fruity taste, again with notes of raspberry and a poor wheat-character; the sourness is getting stronger towards the slightly spicy finish. Dispensable brew (28.V.09).

Pinkish-grey head; hazy, red-cyclamen beer. Roasted, near overheated frying fat, a bit of cherry bonbons, and some holly leaves aroma. Horrible, dreary, artificial cherry taste, cherry skins, and some dark malts. Well-bodied at first, but somehow ending empty. So Strubbe can make perfectly horrible kriek too. Bravo.
