From Mark and Spencer in Paris. An IPA that it becomes better at the final, resinous hop, bitter, rather dry, light and watery, 13.04.19, drinking it at Epalinges.

Can from M&S, Archway, London on 29th January 2021. Pours clear copper with disappearing off-white foam and spot lacing. Malty aroma with touches of resins and spices. Tangy fruits in-mouth with citrus zest and apricot. Grassy, bitter finish. Zingy mouthfeel and a medium body.

330ml can BBE 12/20. Hazy, dark gold/light amber, one finger of head, excellent lacing and retention all the way through. Aroma of citrus, orange, malts, pine. Taste is mango, bready malts, quite grassy and then citrus and pine all the way with a moderate bitterness. Light to moderate body, moderate carbonation, not great but ok for a 4%. It is a laid back beer, almost too laid back! This is my 38th Session IPA since May and it doesn't stand out as being a bad one or a great one but I do like hoppy beers so its all good!

Can: This one had taken a tumble, but no holes. Poured a copper with off white head. Aroma was piney citrus hops. Taste is nice gritty hops forward with a malty backbone.

Can. Deep golden color. Piney, oily citric aroma and flavor. Well hopped. A bit harsh but pleasant.

Can at Liverpool Street and drunk on the train on the way home. A nice fresh and hoppy aroma from the can (classy) with bubbles coming out the hole. The flavour was fresh and fruity hops and a balanced sweet and bitter flavour. A pleasant mouthfeel and a nice low abv. It put a smile on my face and was a lovely beer.

33cl can from...er Marks & Spencer. Poured a hazy light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is grassy, tropical fruit citrus hop, The flavour is moderate sweet with a light, slightly watery, malt, fruity, light floral, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice and fruity up front, but that quickly dissipated leaving a watery woody hop bitter finish, when I was yearning for the fruit to be there all the way through. The commercial decription sounds great, but sadly the beer did not live up to it. An average IPA, but the beer world has moved on from beers like this.
