Seven malts were used to create deep flavors of coffee, chocolate, caramel, and molasses. A hint of bitterness and herbal character from carefully selected European and American hops help support the monolithic maltiness. After conditioning in stainless steel, this beer waited patiently in bourbon barrels for 8 to 12 months.

Tap at Pozoj Fest Zagreb. Blackish body, off-white head. Chocolate, coconut, cakey taste, quite okay. Chocolate, grainy, barrel notes, sweet, heaps of carob of all things. Very cakey all in all.

Bottle shared, thnx Jeroen. Black beer, no head. Aroma is bourbon, barrel, wood, oak, roasted, nuts, coconut, malt, vanilla, 'wiebertjes'/liquorice, Taste is the same, sweet, malt, bourbon, alcohol, light bitter, molasses, very good.

Medium body, almost syrupy, roasty, sweet, boozy. Lots of bourbon, brown sugar, black licorice. Oldschool ris, very nice.

Bottle, 375 ml shared with Max, Miro B and Zec. Black with beige head. Chocolate, cocoa, bourbon, barrel, smooth. Sweet. Some dark fruit notes. Soft texture. Medium to full bodied.

Draft. Black beer with a tan head. Bourbon and chocolate aroma. Bourbon and chocolate flavor with light spice and dark fruit. Medium-plus bodied. Bourbon and chocolate linger with light roast, light licorice, and dark fruit.
