500ml bottle from Hole in the Wall, Darlington. Yellowy golden colour, white foam head that dissipates away and nose of fruity apple, oak, barnyard. Taste is mellow apple, fruity, bittersweet, with woody oak, leathery, barnyard funk, and some light tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry oaky finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Clear golden cider that’s fairly dry, but its mid-apple flavour is crisp enough tasting. The oak ageing is more apparent than its strength.
