Pours black, not much head. Smell is full, peppers, bourbon, wood. No oxidation at all, even though it's 6 years old and ment to drink fresh. Taste is full, creamy, peppers still very noticable. Mild oxidation, but it does work with the beer so isn't problematic just yet. Medium heat from the peppers, in perfect balance at this point in time, so I think it might have been a bit to spicy when fresh ? Recognizable bourbon and oak, still. Very nice, held up impressively well.

Bottle. Hnnng. This pours beeeaaautifully. Pitch black with a medium dark brown mocha head. Aromas of cocoa, dark sweet fruits, licorice, chili fruit sweetness, dark roast, cinnamon rolls, rye whiskey, coconut. Taste is cocoa, vanilla, raw licorice, cinnamon rolls, rye whiskey, bourbon sweetness, coconut, strong roast, dark chocolate. Finishes in a dry chocolate taste with a good amount of chili heat. God damn, this is good. Holy shit.

650 ml bottle. Thanks Mike!!! Black color with brown head. Roasted malty aroma, light spicy, cinnamon, light chili, vanilla, chocolate, cocoa, coconut, alcohol, wood. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Full silky creamy body with soft carbonation.

From tap. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted, coconut and chocolate malty. Lingering roasted and dark malty. Lingering dark malty and coconut note into the finish.

Schwarze Farbe, geringe braune Schaumkrone. Geruch süß röstmalzig, Schokolade, Vanille, bourbon. Geschmack süß röstmalzig, Vanille, kokos, sehr vollmundig, lecker.

Bottle shared@Himmeriget, Copenhagen - Black pour with a small dissipating tan head. Bold roasted malty with some decadent rich chocolate, caramel, vanilla, cinnamon and some nice but not overt chilli heat coming in, dried fruit, has a great mouthfeel, some bourbon infused wood, gorgeous.

Bottle @ Himmeriget. Pours oily black with a creamy mocha head that leaves plenty of spotty trace on the glass while dissiapting. Smell is malty and spicy with roasted malts, caramel, toffee, vanilla fudge, charred wood, luxurious dark chocolate, dark roast coffee, smoked chilis, fruity habanero, cinnamon, toasted coconut, minerals, peppery rye whiskey alcohol and buttery bourbon alcohol. Taste is sweet, bitter, malty and slightly spicy. mouthfeel is soft, creamy, oily, tiny astringent, slightly boozy and near full bodied. Finish is sweet, bitter, rich and complex. The base beer is of course great and in this case the barrel treatment is just sublime. Prominent notes of both bourbon and rye whiskey without overtaking the rich and complex base beer just adding more and more layers of tasty complexity. Pretty close to perfection!

A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, intense sweet chocolate malt with light macaroon, coconut, light vanilla, light chili , beautiful. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with cinnamon, chili, light vanilla extract, complex and beautiful. Bottle.

Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with notes of chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, light chili, raw sugar and licorice. Full bodied with low carbonation. Solid. Good balance between the barrels.
