Pours amber with a creamy white head. Aroma is toast, butter and a hint of spruce. Silky yet powerful and full-bodied. Medium persistence.

Bottle from Cocktails, Littleborough. Copper-amber with a thin head. Maintains the lovely smooth pale malts you associate with Leffe, but noticeably stronger. Has a potent aroma with banana in here, which is also one of its flavours.

Bottle shared with Sarkynorthener cheers Martin; clear light copper pour with a frothy off white head, caramel and malt aroma, taste has sweet caramel, bread dough, some spice, expect a bit more fruit in this style.

From a 330ml bottle on 7/3/2015. Poors a clearish deep golden with a medium head. Has a moderatly malty nose with some Belgian yeast evident. The taste is sweet and malty, with caramel overtones, along ith some fruit and mild spice. There’s a modest bitterness, a good dash of Belgian yeast, and a hint of alcohol at the back. Full bodied, and a touch syrupy, with soft carbonation. Quite pleasant.

sweet malty with some midly hop character. Basically a bigger, heavier version of the blonde. Slightly cloying. Not special IMO.

0,33L bottle (from Wine of Galilee), BB 29.02.16. Pours clear dark golden with huge off-white head. The head stays. Aroma is sweet, fruits, Belgian yeast, malt. Flavor is very sweet, fruits, some caramel, malt, yeast, and spices. Alcohol is very well covered with the sweetness. Overall: simple and very sweet brew.
