Clear medium amber colour, large frothy off-white head, good retention, heavy lacing. Aroma sweet malt, banana, vanilla, candy sugar, caramel. Taste is heavy sweet and light bitter, sugary, toffee, average duration. Medium to full body, oily to creamy texture, soft carbonation, finish is sweetbitter, light spices, alcoholic. Overpowering not to say too much in aroma and taste, the finish is like the proverbial dying candle.

33cl bottle. Clear amber colour with a creamy off-white head. Sweet, fruity, malty aroma, caramel and spices too. Taste is sweet and fruity, alcohol. Overall very nice, think I prefer Leffe’s Vieille Cuvée though.

Bottle. 8C which turned out to be a good temperature. Even colder would have worked too. More amber than gold with a large near white head that lasts pretty well. Dough, banana, white pepper, some not entirely convincing oranges. Full bodied with peach and banana, medium sugars. Moderate bitterness but it dries out enough that the sweetness doesn’t linger. Some coriander and pepper at the end. A bit boozy, but not raw. Doesn’t offer a great deal for 9% and that probably costs it a couple of points, but it’s a sound enough beer.

Aroma: Caramel sweet and nuts. Flavour: Pretty malty sweet with notea of caramel and dark fruits. A yeasty aftertast and a sticky and alcoholic mouthfeel. Colour: Golden amber with an offwhite head.

Bonito color cobre con un par de dedos de espuma ocre que pronto desaparece. Ligero aroma a miel, plátano y especias. Cuerpo y carbonatacion medias. Primero frutal, plátano y algo de naranja. Luego predomina el dulce y aparece algo el alcohol, de forma contenida y agradable. Buen conjunto.

Pours amber with a creamy white head. Aroma is toast, butter and a hint of spruce. Silky yet powerful and full-bodied. Medium persistence.
