Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a clear dark gold with small white top. Aroma of malt, floral citrus, grapefruit and light pine. Nice hop profile here for a traditional botted beer - citrus, pine, grapefruit, flora, light biscuit malt character. Has a decent bitter finish with some sweet notes still coming through. Medium bodied.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 20th January 2024. Pale gold with shallow foam and initial lacing. Caramel malt and tangy fruits in aroma. Burst of tangy fruitiness in-mouth and a finish of caramel malt. Light body and a smooth mouthfeel.

Cask-conditioned at the Robert Fitzharding (JDW), October 2023. Golden in colour, with plenty of grassy hop character, tangerines and apricots, rich tea malts and a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Golden amber with an off-white head. Grapefruit and dry Weetabix and vanilla biscuits with an odd hint of sourness. Hints of toffee behind, some diacetyl. The flavours don't really work together for me, it's a bit of a mess.

Cask at the Montagu Pyke - London. Pours clear yellow with a foamy, white head. Lightly sweet with a pleasant grassy hop bitterness, lean pale mats, straw, lemon peel. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Finishes with lasting grassy bitterness.

Cask at Moon Under Water, Wolverhampton (6/10/23). Pours a slightly hazy pale straw with minimal white head and good lacing. Tropical fruits dominate the aroma, with a few hints of spices. In the mouth it is juicy and slightly bitter. Plenty of flavour with floral hops, citrus, pine and stone fruit. Finish is dry and sticky. Not bad, but not really an IPA.

On tap at the glenavon pub in Tomintoul. Aroma is slightly sour malt, earthy hops. Flavour is malty, not very sweet, slightly acidic, citrus, pine, herbal hops. Quite enjoyed this! The slightly acidic malt makes this quite interesting.
