Craft St Mary Axe. Keg. Hazy gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is smooth but still has good minerally carbonation. Creamy malt base, smooth with a pleasant light sweetness. Light savoury note in the pithy citrus, fairly bitter. Little fresher orange hop. Hop spice and pine. Smooth and bitterish finish. Long grapefruit bitter linger, Not very lager like at all but it’s clean and satisfyingly hoppy.

Keg at Craft Clerko. It pours cloudy golden with a medium white head. The aroma is bright, fresh, pineapple, orange sherbet, blood orange and candied peel. The taste is crisp, bitter, fresh, grassy, floral, straw, cracker, orange peel, tangerine, white pepper with a refreshingly dry finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Fresh and pretty delicious. Great stuff.

Three pints on tap at Christian Firtal. Cloudy golden with a lasting white head. Hoppy aroma of citrus with pine and kerosene and a touch of white bread. Dry and bitter flavour, unsurprisingly, with grapefruit and pine in the foreground. The lager bit shows itself as noticeable malt, and a very faint touch of sulphur. And a feeling of never-ending pintability.
