Bottle. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is caramel, some grass, herbs and mild ripe fruits with some toffee too. Flavour is grass, some herbal, mild ripe fruity and toffeeish tones with mild earthy elements. Not that much smoke nor whisky to it. Very mediocre.

Bottled 330ml (from Rouen)
Amber color, small off-white head. Aroma has caramel, light harshness, grassy notes. Medium-bodied, Sweetish riped fruits, caramalt in the flavor. Some grassyness. Is this really brewed with _smoked_ Whisky malts?

33cl Bottle from erickok, thanks Eric! Clear deep amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of peach, light-smoked malts, hint of peat, quite sweet. Flavour is sweet, malty, peach, light-peated malts, toast, something salty, sweet finish. Light-bodied. An Adelscott clone imo, a tad too sweet.

Although I might argue that this is a smoked beer, the elements of aroma and taste are sort of smoky, but more peat bog. Notes of dried fruit, wood chips, cigars, whiskey. Palate is dry and lingering. This is a unique animal and worth seeking out.

bottle, traded with jaghana - merci beaucoup! Golden colour, large white head. Lots of caramel, sweet-ish, toffee, fudge. Slightly hoppy. A beer with an impressive caramel character- very nice.

bottle, bought on eBay. Hazy amber-brown colour, mid-sized beige head, quickly diappearing. Aroma of fruity, malt and smoke. Full-bodied, intensively malty with a shy fruity touch (bitter orange, citrus fruit) and a lovely smoky character.

Bottle, 6%. Clear dark amber colour, some floaties at the bottom. Big white head, quite stable. Sweet and smoky flavour. Mild smokiness, a bit like wood coal. Thin mouthfeel and quite watery finish. But nicely drinkable.

Bottle: Clear, amber coloured, quickly collapsing off-white fluffy head, stronger traces of smoke in the nose, underpinned by caramel malt and an illusion of hops; moderate sweetish flavour, rather light bodied for a beer of 6.% ABV; quite soft sweet-malty finish, underpinned by hops and smoked malt. Not really unpleasant, but not convincing......

Bottle. Clear, golden beer with an off-white head. The head is rather quickly diminishing, large-bubbled and off-white color. Cellar, some wet paper, caramel-sweetness and fruityness. Salty, slightly alcoholic flavor, sweet and a bit smoked, and some fruityness in the finish. There’s also caramel and some smoke in the finish. Medium body. It’s better than the Blonde, but still mighty strange. (071004)

(33cl bottle) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized, slightly off-white frothy head. Light-sweet malty, slightly toasty, minimal peaty nose. Light-sweet flavour with a whiff of bitterness, quite light bodied for its abv; crispy mouthfeel. Slightly smoked malty, subtle fruity taste; moderately sweet and soft tart-fruity finish with light peaty notes. Has a likeable character of its own.
