30/XII/19 - 75cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ Ardennes holiday, BBE: 2022, Lot n° 26/VII/19 - (2019-2223)

Pretty cloudy yellowish blond beer, small creamy yellowish head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty floral, funky, herbal, some band-aid notes, chemical touch. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: bit sourish, funky, pretty bitter, chemical, lemony, lemon peel, bitter lemon, bit weird… Aftertaste: bitter, sourish, lemon, some grapefruit, spicy touch, fruity, bit chemical, weird.

On tap at 1420, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma is loaded with earthy notes, soil, twigs, and bitterness. Flavour is bitter, with twigs, soil, earthy notes, and pronounced bitterness. Bitter and earthy. Fun stuff but a little harsh.

Bottle. Etre. Pale gold. Light haze. Thin, fully lacing, lasting, white head. Nose has wet dough. Light esters. Touch of cracked pepper. Preserved lemon. Some wet hop. Taste is fairly tart and lemony. Bright, leafy bitterness. Dries a little. Light to medium body. Fine carbonation. Touch of lemon zest acidity. Lingering, crisp bitterness to finish. Nice.
