Wetherspoon Autumn Beer Festival 2019. Cask @ White Hart, Todmorden. Golden-amber with a creamy head. It’s more of a hoppy ale than a brown ale, but fairly deep tasting in this respect.

Third, cask ale, festival beer at Sun (JDW) in Redhill. Shared with Finn. Clear copper coloured body, upper part lacing. Small off-white head. Modest aromas of berry-fruits. Distant taste profile of marmalade and dark dough. Ends mid-sweet. Easy going. (Redhill 17.10.2019).

Cask-conditioned at Lloyds, Bristol 23/10/2019. Chestnut in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Some floral hops, red berry fruits, brown sugar, sweet malts and a gentle finish. Good.

Third of a pint, hand-pulled in my local Wetherspoon's on 19th Oct 2019. Deep amber body, off-white crown. Malty molasses rule the nose and taste, caramel and toffee to the fore; light fruity hop interest after the initial malty sweetness.

Delt med Rune på The Sun (JDW) i Redhill. Gyldenbrun. Middels høyt skum. Stabilt. Lett fruktaroma. Smaken plommer. Litt tørr etter hvert.
