Craft. Opaque very dark brown beer, good dark tan head. Palate is viscous and smooth and soft. The malt is rich and dark with lacto malt cream. It also has a burned note, not roast but burned. Mild coffee. Soft finish. The burned note is really pissing me off and ruining this beer.

On tap at Beer Temple. Black colour, light brown head. Aroma of full on pure chocolate, light coffee, hard roasted malts, really good. Flavour is lots of ground coffee, plain and milk chocolate, roasted malts, good roasted bitter finish with coffee and a little hops. Medium-bodied. Lovely stuff, even for a coffee stout.

Tap at Craft Beer Co Brighton. It pours jet black, with a thin tan head. The nose is roasted malt, rich coffee and dark chocolate. The taste is rich-roast coffee, roasted malt, charcoal, slight acidity (I assume this is coming from the coffee itself) and dark fruit, with a very dry, roasty finish. Medium-full body and moderate carbonation. Flavoursome and well balanced.
