Bottle at home Wednesday 10th September 2014 Pours black with a mid sized frothy off-white actually light beige head. An experience not unlike drinking a stout immediately after cleaning your teeth. Clean, fresh, minty but with those usual stout characteristics in the background. A great mouthwash of a stout that is actually better than it sounds. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Can at Craig’s. Interesting, full on mint on nose, rich chocolate mint finish, surprisingly not overpowering.

Can from cotteridge wines, shared at the Siren Maiden launch CBC clerkenwell. Aroma is toothpaste, after eight, choc. Clear dark brown / ruby red coloured pour with a persistent cream coloured head. Flavour follows, spearmint, after eight, choc, but very sweet. For me the balance was not there at in this beer, there was a very weird mix of sickly sweet and mint / roast. Not a fan.

Can, thanks to Fergus I believe... It pours very dark brown with a small tan head. The nose is roasty, toast, fresh mint, dark chocolate and After Eight mints. The taste is roasted malt, toast, earth, ash, light alcohol, mint chocolate and light bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice mint chocolate character, but not a whole lot else. Decent.

Sehr dunkelbraunes Bier mit schöner leicht bräunlichen Schaumkrone. Geruch stark nach Pfefferminze, etwas Schokolade. Im Antrunk starker Pfefferminz Geschmack, Kaugummi. Im Abgang kommen dann auch Kaffeearomen durch. Wirkt leicht scharf durch die Minze.

Can from StarmoreBoss, Sheffield. Nice looking beer, that promises much. Spearmint, cocoa, lightly roasted coffee. Taste is not as complex, though. Dry, bitter, but a bit thin. Light body. Dry finish. Probably better with a square or two of decent chocolate.

Can @SBWF 2013
Dark brown color, good brownish head. Mint-chocolaty aroma. Light-bodied. Some chocolate tooth paste, mint. Minty. Awful.
