Our Bärentöter is a strong crossover between Gose and Bock. This harmoniously complex beer is produced using an opulent mixture of six special malts with additions of coriander, orange peel salt, and a touch of cinnamon. A lactic acid fermentation is complemented by saltiness and malt body to create a perfectly balanced beer. On this basis fine fruit and spice aromas can unfold, making this Gose Bock something very special.

Bottle: Copper coloured, hazy, quickly collapsing loose off-head; moderate sweetish- sourish fruity and caramelly nose, musty-cellary aromas in the background, presumably traces of coriander, too; moderate sweet-sour flavour, medium bodied, a bit sticky; drier and slightly salty fruity-sourish finish. O.K., but a bit too sweet IMHO...

(bottle) Hazy, amber to copper colour with a beige and firm mid-sized foamy head. Nutty malty aroma with notes of caramel and a mildly berry-fruity, slightly lactic backbone, accompanied by yeasty spice accents and a whiff of coriander. Sour flavour, medium to light bodied with a calm carbonation. Dry vinegary and slightly lactic taste with shades of caramel and stronger berry-fruity notes; dry, moderately acidic-tart and slightly salty finish with notes of red berries and a tinge of morellos. Very enjoyable. 09.XII.16

Bottled, thanks Beerhunter111! Clear amber, small head. Tart fruity nose. Sweet and sour with solid body and well rounded mouthfeel. Salted caramel, tart lemon, hints of coriander. Low bitterness. Interesting.
